Info: Chemistry with Mr. Baker is a fun, but challenging class. Its a great place to explore chemistry concepts and Mr. Baker is extremely passionate about the subject.

Summary:

• Chapters usually take 1-1.5 weeks and will have homework assignments usually every day or every other day.

Tips:

• Always be curious! If you are planning on taking AP Chem or any other AP Science course, a strong chemistry foundation will help you enormously.

• Be open to asking questions! Mr. Baker is extremely knowledgable on chemistry and will be able to explain to you anything you feel you don't understand.

• Focus on the concepts, not the grade! This is one of the biggest challenges underclassmen face. They focus way too much on the grade in the class and not what they learned. In later AP classes, its important to focus on knowledge over grade because knowledge will stay with you throughout college and beyond, while your grade in this class will only be reflected one year on one transcript.
