Health

Health (Hess)

Info:

Health is one of the required classes needed to graduate DHS. But no need to worry, it's one of the easier classes. You learn valuable information on how to take care of your own personal health, as well as information about drugs, illnesses and CPR.

Summary:

- Fairly straight forward class, Mr. Hess gives very clear instructions

-A lot of work time is given, so you will have no to very little homework each week (excluding the projects)

-Don't be tardy, don't mess around in class

Helpful Resources:

-Use the Canvas textbook to help you finish your assignments if you do not have time to finish them in class

Tips:

-Use your class time wisely. Get to work immediately, and work diligently. With that, you will be able to complete the assignments for that day with around 15 minutes to spare, being able to complete homework from other classes or last minute study.

-DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! Even if you get Bs on your tests/quizzes, if you complete all of your other assignments in class well you will end with an easy A in the class. The tests are also quite simple, You can then use extra class time to catch up on other work.

-When studying for tests/the final, use the study guide that is provided in class. It is super helpful!! If you know the study guide, you will ace the test.
