A great way for 8th graders to get a headstart into high school math. This class covers necessary information for Algebra 2 and beyond such as graphing of linear functions, parabolas, and cubic functions.
Summary:
Learning about absolute value, squares and square roots, graphing, quadratics, reciprocals, percentages.
Tips:
Make sure to understand the material! What you learn will be elaborated on and expanded upon much more in high school math classes.
Work through the book problems if you struggle with a concept
Ask someone to explain a concept better if you still don't understand it
