Freshman

A Leap into High School

Freshmen year is all about getting used to high school. Don't worry, teachers are forgiving at the start of freshmen year. You'll quickly learn how to use the lockers, and navigate the school (although you may get lost at first).

Sophomore

Moving Up

You survived freshmen year! Sophomore year's classes become a bit more challenging then freshmen year and the workload get harder. You are expected to be already familiar with the school and teachers jump into learning right away.

Junior

The Defining Year!

Junior year is notorious in high school for being very challenging and class intensive. It can be an important year for college readiness. Many people take AP classes this year and there is the additional pressure to do well on the AP exams at the end of the year to get college credit. However, doing well in junior year will set you up to have a great senior year and be prepared for college.

Senior

Finally no Finals

No finals for seniors! A large part of senior year is preparing for college or other future pursuits in life. Depending on your classes, senior year may be the most difficult, or it may be the easiest. But aside from classes seniors spend a lot of time perfecting their resume for colleges.
